Fashion Week Excitement
Hello everyone!
I am writing to all of you dedicated fashion divas amid piles of clothing and accessories as I pack for my flight tomorrow to New York for the much anticipated Fashion Week! I am excited as well as nervous, as I’ve never covered such a monumental fashion event before. Michelle and I will be keeping you posted on all the shows we attend, what fashion trends we like/dislike, and we may even let you in on some juicy gossip we hear at parties. 
A show I’m especially looking forward to attending is the the U.S. debut of the Dutch Fashion Foundation’s Mala Van Gaans, Melanie Rozema, and Daryl Van Wouw on September 10. I also can’t wait to see Narcisco Rodriguez’ use of Swarovski crystal beads to add sparkle to simple silhouettes. And who could resist the perks of attending the the Maidenform Dream Bra exhibit at the Bryant Park Hotel, where attendees get a complimentary hand/foot massage or manicure/ pedicure! I can’t wait! As for Vera Wang. . .whatever, we’re too cool to go to that show anyway. Now we have more time to view collections from tons of fresh, new designers.
