So today I’m a bit less cynical than yesterday, if not a bit starstruck as well. Not only did we get into two awesome shows today, but I also attended two press conferences and saw Paris and Nicky Hilton walk right past me and pause in the Tent lobby for press photos. It has been a pretty surreal day.
As I mentioned earlier, I attended Joanna Mastroianni’s show which was amazing, and then later I attended Cynthia Steffe’s show, which displayed more muted colors including a lot of black. The whole feel of the show was a bit darker although there were some hints of white and red tones in a few pieces. The first press conference was to advertise Richard Branson’s new wine known as Virgin Vines, and he spoke briefly about it in front of tons of flashing cameras. The second conference was for Kinerase, a line of skincare products. Courtney Cox was there to help advertise and speak for the products because much of the proceeds go to benefit cancer research. I’d tell you even more, but I’m about to go to another show tonight. . . see things aren’t so bad for papierdoll afterall.
