Someway, somehow I’ve seen this before. Maybe not at London Fashion Week but definitely somewhere. Yes the designs are definitely different original Betty Jackson pieces for Spring 2006. I just didn’t get the direction of the line. There were quasi-pyschedelic flower pieces. There were business pieces here and there (or pieces that can be worn in a business setting). The line featured very muted colors. It was not vibrant. We don’t have a photo of this (arrgghhh Tony!!), but a piece that I really disliked was this flower print shirt/skirt 2 piece. Based on the color usage alone, it was lost on me as to whether this was a spring or fall show.
The photo to the left was my favorite at the show. I definitely have a different type of fashion sense, so I would probaby swap out the shoes and get a brighter yellow strappy to contrast the dress. That’s really what I found with the Betty Jackson show. A lot of the pieces were interchangeable. Nothing distinct stood out from what I saw. I was underwhelmed.
