I LOVED THIS SHOW. Yes you heard it here first. It was funky. It was sexy. It was different. I saw at least three or four pieces I would honestly run out and get. London Fashion Week was turning out to be New York fashion week part deux until this. Kishimoto used color combinations perfectly. The pieces were different. They showed creativity and style. I guess what I was looking for all this week in London was a sense that designers were daring to do the unconventional. I have one more day here and I had yet to see something that got me excited about spring. Other writers at papierdoll have their favorites, but I felt like the odd girl out.
The Kishimoto show had a lot of variety. Light colored berets with sheer material on top, multi-colored dresses bright as all heck, two tone subdued dresses, funky colored shoes that’s sure to get attraction on the street; all totaled a weird but amazing show. I will be posting more as I attended the John Rocha show this morning.
