One word: Elegant. Every single piece was simply elegant. You can tell as we near the end of London Fashion week, things are starting to pick up. The John Rocha show was very… well… elegant. That alone is great seeing as how I am a sucker for class. There wasn’t an explosion of colors like in in the Kishimoto show. As an example, the sheer red top in the picture above is simple, understated, yet draws attention, because it is so well done. And I’m not talking steak. The Rocha show had a lot of flowing pieces and loose dresses and tops. It was relaxed and harkened back ever so slightly to the 20s.
Not a bad effort. I didn’t go to the Paul Smith show, but I received some photos from the LFW people and may write a commentary on his women’s line . Be back tomorrow with some more views and a wrap up.
