No more coke

I’m trying not to sound judgemental, though I may come off that way. While it is easy for me to sit behind my keyboard safely typing away and casting aspersions, I find it interesting how celebrities and everyday people take full responsibility for the dirt that they do after they get caught.

Why is that?

Seasons are good

Yes, yes they are.

Here in New York the seasons are very well defined. When I was in LA for fashion week, fall felt like a normal summer day. In New York, Autumn is Autumn, Winter is Winter etc… So there’s a certain sense of pride when I pull out that Winter coat. How do you accessorize? Should I go turtleneck, sweater, sweater-shirt combination, what kind of scarf to wear? The possibilites are limitless. By the third week, I will be cursing the cold and looking for someone to buy me a ticket to LA, but until then, I will wait with baited breath for the first chill.

Don’t you just love this coat?

The perfect pair

Finding that perfect pair of jeans is a painstaking affair. You have to find something that cups the butt right, has some sort of slimming effect, works well with a pair of heels (you want just the front of the shoe showing), and has some sort of wash that doesn’t overpower but accentuates.

These decisions are monumental.

So when I received an e-mail a couple of days ago about UJeans I thought, “great, another denim company promising the perfect pair of jeans.” This time though, they may actually be right. The process is pretty straightforward, they get your full denim measurement and custom make the jeans for you. This is something that used to be reserved for celebrities, but this is really supposed to work. It takes a couple of weeks to get your jeans and I haven’t gone through the order fulfillment process to give my full recommendation as of yet, but it’s an interesting concept.

I’ll keep you updated.

ISSUES

My closet is FULL, I mean clothes for any and everything. I have issues with all of them, I wish they would all go away. I am in desperate need of shirts, just plain shirts, and skirts. There’s paying for an apartment in NY, there is limited money for things like food and clothes. And how about leaving for work late almost every morning because I can’t find a blasted shirt. Of course that would be solved if I put my clothes out the night before as my Grandparents taught me; but then I would be depressed before going to sleep. I plan on having a sale or just give them away. Maybe it is better to look into an empty closet and feel like I have nothing to wear, then a closet full gross clothes….

So long Pardner

That’s the last time I try a country twang thing in the title of my posts. Finally this cowboy boot trend, whatchamajiggit, whatever you want to call it is on the wane. My new love, this wedge boot. On. Sale. At. DSW. Shhhhhhhhh…… don’t tell a soul.
