LAFW: Yesterday in LA

michelle Wednesday, October 19th, 2005 | Fashion Week Coverage

One word, Diet; that is all I could think about while at the ASHLEY PAIGE show. It was like the beach in the main tent, swimsuit after swimsuit, worn by tall lean models. There were a few dresses, more like cover ups and shirts. One I felt was a direct reinvention (polite for rip-off) of Stella McCartney for Chloe’s spring 2001 collection. Remember the horse silhouette on her pieces? (Carrie B. wore the pants in Season Four’s Coulda, Shoulda, Woulda).

Overall the swim suits were wearable, if nothing else. I believe she was continuing with the boho/Daisy Duke look as the models all had bandanas and cowboy like boots, some with blacked out teeth to give the illusion of missing teeth. I did however, really like most of the cover ups.

Oh! and Janice was there again, she made an appearance in a show on Monday, but I wasn’t there to see it.

Apparently, you have some serious body issues that you need to confront! And furthermore, a diet might be the right course of action for yourself, since you can’t fit in your jeans anymore!
