LAFW: ANTIK DENIM

michelle Thursday, October 20th, 2005 | Fashion Week Coverage

This may be the most casual show I have been to so far. Very hip and very Rock n’ Roll. Denim is a big thing in the fashion world right now and ANTIK DENIM really showed their stuff. There was something for everyone,(Women, Men, even the kiddies) wearable and well wearble to those who dare. The 80’s must have heavily influenced the designers to go for the “Like a Virgin” look to the Robert Palmer ladies in short skirts, white shirt, and ties.

That “Country Girl” inspiration found it’s way into the mix, even one girl in very short-shorts, on a buckinng bronco! Overall the show proved that Antik will remain a denim leader.

My star sighting: Apollonia-yes Purple Rain/Prince Apollonia, and Adrianne Curry and Christopher “Peter Brady” Knight. I guess the show is for real…..
