I have to be honest, I haven’t always been the biggest fan of Abercrombie, but they did something right when they put this sweater together…check the description out: Super soft, fitted, sexy…ok I added the last one, but you’re definitely winning me over with the whole super soft descrip. It almost makes you look forward to the cold. $228

I interviewed a great designer tonight, it’ll be up in Papierdoll’s December issue…(already jumping ahead and November isn’t even up yet) One of her pet peeves? Bling. I couldn’t agree more. The hip-hopification of fashion has made the gaudiest god-awful jewelry a must have (see Paris Hilton). Those are not her words, they’re mine. Jewelry has always been something you do to accentuate something else. It’s an accessory, it is not the centerpiece -and even when it is the “intentional” centerpiece you wear it as part of an ensemble.

So ladies, this Christmas when you are heading to that office party…put the big diamond ring and the heavy rope chain away….

There was a bit of a war on the papierdoll messageboards yesterday morning regarding Kate Moss, H&M and her replacement. On one side of the ring you had those that said, H&M was right to dump Kate Moss; in the other corner you had those who said H&M should have stood by her.

My 2 cents?

They knew what they were getting into when they got her. The rumors were there. There was smoke, then fire. No one hires anyone without doing some sort of background check. I hear they make guys who stand outside restaurants in chicken suits take a urine test for drugs.

If they can do that for chicken suited workers, they can and probably do perform that on supermodels… unless I am mistaken.

Even if I am, they should have given her another shot.
