I never know what I am doing for the New Year until sometime around 7pm on December 31st. It’s just the way things go. If I don’t get a call by then, I am probably watching the ball drop in Times Square on TV. Mind you I live in NYC. Time Square is a madhouse and unless you get there before 4pm, to wait in the cold for 8 hours, watch the ball drop, and finally kiss a stranger; it’s not happening.
I don’t want to be the one to put a cold damp blanket on the festivities, just informing on my routine.
The point of this? I was reading the New York Times today and looked at an interesting multimedia feature on how the other half spends their New Years. Take a look.

Kate Spade 30 to 50% off

Can’t be mad at shopping the after Christmas sales with deals like this. Kate Spade is offering deals of 30 to 50 percent off of their online shopping site. If that’s not enough, you also get free ground shipping on orders over $200. Definitely a good thing.

to say happy holidays and seasons greeting? Methinks not. New Years is only 6 days away. So I am saying it.
Enjoy your holidays. =)

Adorneya by Georgia Hadley has absolutely beautiful earrings for sale. Christmas is behind us, but the gift giving does not have to stop. Another reason you can get these earrings is simply to spoil yourself.
These intricately designed pieces will last a lifetime. I purchased a set just to see if $27 jewelry could really last. It can and it does. Take a look.

Deep discounts are the post-Christmas retail tradition so that stores can clear their floors of winter inventory to fill their racks with the spring lines. Don’t buy anything too trendy now, you’ll only have a short time to wear it, so get something that you know will be in style at least through next winter.

Style Prophet: Canadian Designer Leads Fashion's Future
Stephanie Nolasco
At the age of fourteen, Lacy Barry was given a religious premonition of her future with fashion. The word "ephoe," a plural form of the eight ritual garments worn by Jewish high priests, appeared in her dream.
