Yesterday I posted on Scarlett Johansen’s handbag in Match Point, and the resourceful and lovely Maggie posted a comment which is worth highlighting in the blog:

The bag officially became hot when Scarlett Johansson was photographed with it on the set of the new Woody Allen movie, but it has been the must-have for models, make-up artists and designers since its launch earlier this year.’”
Indeed, it is. In fact it seems the Roxanne bag is so popular that Mulberry is already offering variations off the traditional style:
Of course, if you can’t afford the GBP595 (which is $1,051.22 dollars at time of posting) price tag, the style is sure to permeate the handbag market, and imitations and knockoffs are sure to follow.
