The giveaway continues part 4
You’re on vacation in city x. You don’t want to pull out that darned tourist map/book giving away your well hidden secret. The backpack, shorts and sneakers are no giveaway as you left them in the hotel room. You are stylish. You are savvy. And thus the only guide you took along with you is the eat. shop. guide. The eat. shop. guides are nearly biblical in their coverage of where to go and what to do.

It features glossy photos that will help you make the best selections on food, shopping and whatnot when you’re in the foreign city of Brooklyn, Los Angeles, Portland etc.
For more info read the review on the eat. shop. guides from the December issue of Papierdoll.
So here’s the deal. Two lucky winners will receive the full set of these guides as part of our giftbag giveaway promotion. Check That. Not only do you get earrings from Tilting Swiftly, a complete makeup kit from ELF cosmetics, a Papierdoll branded spaghetti strapped shirt, you also get the full set of the guides all in a Papierdoll bag.
And we still have more to giveaway.

Dressing for the latest accessory - a baby
If life events like motherhood can ever “be in fashion” being a new mom certainly is all the rage right now. So much so that maternity wear has become one of the fastest growing facets of fashion. This season’s empire waists even have me feeling like regular clothes are more suitable for expectant moms these days.
But what about after the baby?
If you know any new Mommies celebrating their first Mother’s Day this May (warning: it’s less than a month away!) then Milkdudz might make the perfect gift.
Frustrated with the unfashionable attire available for mothers AFTER giving birth - when they were ready to breastfeed - Milkdudz founders Kiersten Wall and Stephanie Schulte decided to create under- and outer-wear specifically for breastfeeding mothers.
The “Babymina” above is inspired by vintage rock album covers. It’s a far cry from the utility-inspired breastfeeding wares usually available. My only experience with breastfeeding garments comes from a baby shower - and it wasn’t pretty. If it comes in a box from K-Mart, it’s probably not high fashion.
Celebrity moms like Gwyneth Paltrow, Courteney Cox and Liv Tyler are all fans of Milkdudz. I’ll bet new Mommies get a little tired of receiving all the fashionable duds for the new little cutie and would like something to make themselves a little cutier - so check it out!

Fannypacks, Birkin, Sporran

While the Birkin craze continues, the bag’s namesake, Jane Birkin has moved on to a new bag slash fannypack from Scottish company Sporran. Speaking about the bag in a piece written by Aidin Smith for the Scotsman,
“That bloody thing. I told Hermes they were mad to make it! My one was always full and it ended up giving me tendonitis….
“The sporran cost me £10 from a shop near Edinburgh Castle and it’s all I need for my mobile phone, some junky make-up and - look - useful pieces of driftwood from South America which give you good luck.”

Style Prophet: Canadian Designer Leads Fashion's Future
Stephanie Nolasco
At the age of fourteen, Lacy Barry was given a religious premonition of her future with fashion. The word "ephoe," a plural form of the eight ritual garments worn by Jewish high priests, appeared in her dream. Barry, age 24, is the founder of Ephoe Inc., a label whose influences come from lush tropical colors, Audrey Hepburn and Victorian couture... [Go]
