We bristle at the thought of New York mag actually copying W’s Brangelina photo feature shot by Steve Klein. There are similarities, but leveling the charge of duplication is somewhat misleading. I just don’t see it that way. And until Serge Leblon says otherwise, I’m on New York mag’s side. I may be wrong, but just in case, I’ll let you be the judge:

We’ve gotten a little smarter on fashion week coverage this year. In past seasons we’ve tried to get into any shows that would have us. Last series of fashion weeks we had to turn down invites (that’s a problem we loved having). This year we’re simply going to shows that matter. Sorry for being vague, but you’ll understand when we’re not at super fabulous (insert designer show here that everyone is fighting to attend). One super fabulous designer that we had planned on attending was Gwen Stefani’s L.A.M.B. show. Unfortunately it’s been mothballed into a smaller event for super important buyers and not the lowly press. We won’t take it personally, we still love you Gwen. Now where’s my Le Sportsac L.A.M.B. bag?
