Love, Marriage and Wedalert

Wedalert.com
A stat was just released that shows less people getting married and people who are single outnumbering those who are married. Seeing as I fall into the latter half (Where the heck are the good men? Better question, where the heck are the good looking men?)and doubt that will be changing soon, I decided to check out the WedAlert site for fun and giggles.

For a single person who may want to get married but has no prospects, this exercise is quite depressing. But for a soon-to-be married person, this is THE resource before the big day. We’re talking wedding planning, reception planning, bridal gowns, rings, men… ok, no men, but still.

This tool is so valuable it’s as if it’s the Google of wedding planning. I’m willing to marry the next guy that says hello to me just to plan a wedding through this service. Ok, that’s a stretch, but you get the message.

Jeans and Weed

James Jeans Cured by SeunYahoo users must be smoking that high grade weed. Yahoo put out a list of the top 30 brands of jeans users search for. Here’s some weird numbers for you.

4. Lucky Jeans (people search for these)
1. Seven (these are so 2003)
9. Wrangler (these jeans made the list, then had the audacity to make the top 10)
24. Miss me jeans (miss who?)

To Yahoo users I say pfft.

One more pink product for Breast Cancer Awareness month

pink

While many pink products for Breast Cancer Awareness month are exclusive and run out long before the days on October’s calendar, there are some products available year round and I thought I’d end with one of those.

Ralph Lauren emblazons it’s iconic Pink Pony on everything from crystal studded t-shirts, to hats, to bags, to tennis balls. A classic symbol from a classic designer, I’ve wanted one ever since I saw it on Charlotte on Sex and the City.

10% of the proceeds benefit a variety of cancer charities, including Ralph Lauren’s own Pink Pony Fund.

As you use and wear all your pink purchases year-round, remember to support cancer charities year round and schedule all the appropriate preventive visits to your doctor. And tell your friends!
