Random Oscar Observations
Send to a friend:
Was it me or was A.L.T. talking a little too fast when interviewing everyone? I almost thought he was going to deck the interviewees everytime he thrust the microphone into their faces? His breakdowns of what the actors/actresses were wearing was spot on, when I actually caught what he said.
The good thing about wearing dresses that make you part of the worst dressed list, is that you’ll never have to see them again. For instance: Cameron Diaz: who looked like she was wearing an Imelda Marcos throwaway, Jennifer Hudson may have to fire her stylist (yeah, I went there), Anne Hathaway who obviously learned nothing from her movie (whatever that bow thing was ruined it all), Shaun Robinson looked like she was going to bed instead of an awards ceremony, Kirsten Dunst wore something that seemed to have dead birds at the bottom portion, I could go on. But you get the picture.
All I want to talk about when it comes to best dressed is Rachel Weisz. She wore a gorgeous Vera Wang vintage (I love the accents at the top), the train was the “right” length, Jimmy Choos and Cartier jewels. While namedropping is not a favorite pasttime, she got the Oscars right.

Rachel Weisz did look gorgeous, as usual! I loved her Vera Wang gown. Although they don’t have her vintage stunner, NET-A-PORTER does carry some of Vera’s other lovely creations: http://www.net-a-porter.com/Shop/Designers/Vera-Wang/Clothing
