A cross between medieval torture device and spring’s gotta have/must have/(insert cliche’d need/have adjective here) fashion item for Spring. Interlocking buckle check, stacked heel check, strap that I am hoping doesn’t pinch, check. The French definitely have a twisted sense of humor.
