I think common folk revel in the misfortune of the higher end, especially when the higher end kinda, sorta deserves it. Take Ms. Campbell for instance, I read the New York Daily News this morning and found this more than mildly interesting.
While she’s doing community service for having her cell phone break when it collided with her maid’s head, she has to deal with the aforementioned common folk. She arrives on the scene looking as if she belongs on a runway, she’s got her “work” boots slung over her shoulders (and the work boots mind you look somewhat stylish), and her hair and makeup are impeccable.
This is a woman who knows how to take her punishment like a man.
