With our new…new look, a decision was made to have a new feature that highlights the clothing that really powerful people wear. Paris Hilton was an initial choice as commands legions of fan, but the decision was scrubbed at the last minute. Today’s focus is Elisabeth Murdoch. If the name seems familiar that’s because she’s the daughter of the vast right wing conspiracy, the she beast of conservatism, the harbinger of liberal doom. Yes, she’s Rupert Murdoch’s daughter and she’s holding some sort of fundraiser for Barack Obama in London. Seems that the enemy of her enemy is her friend (or something along those lines). So what does the conservatives’ version of Lex Luthor wear?

While it was hard pinpointing the actual designer she wears in the above photo, it’s obvious that her style choices mirror her ideology. A conservative silk blouse, a dark navy business suit, the watch is very understated, no hoop earrings here, and it all makes up for what a no nonsense billionaire heiress would wear. She’ll eat your lunch, take your cookies and convince you it’s for your own good. Paris, take notes.
