Bravo Pissed, Project Runway Gone, Lifetime Sticks Tongue Out

The executives at Lifetime stuck their collective tongues out and put both thumbs in their ears, basically mocking Bravo at their latest coup. Yes the network that brought you such greats as How To Clean Your House, What Should You Do, Who Knows You Best and various Valerie Bertinelli/Meredith Baxter Berney movies has landed Project Runway. After the upcoming final season on Bravo, Heidi Klum is set to take her show on the road for more money and a bigger audience (maybe). Word on the street is that Lifetime is rearranging their entire programming for this event and is going to have only one Valerie Bertinelli special going forward.

What happens to Bravo as a result? According to the NY Daily News, they are looking to bolster their fashion offerings with The Rachel Zoe Project… … … ok, so they only have one fashion show in the works. Here’s a recommendation… find a way to get America’s Next Top Model and run it directly against Project Runway. That’ll teach upstart Heidi Klum a thing or two.
