A Word about Banana Republic Monogram

To the Gods at Gap this is just a personal observation. I walked into the 6th avenue Banana Republic in NYC. Normally I run into the store to pick up something when a. all my clothes are in the laundry and there's nothing to wear or b. I need something for an event and the store is nearby. Walking into this new Monogram store was a bit of a shell shock. The village is going a bit upscale (much of Manhattan is that way), but this Monogram shop idea is ridiculously bad and here's an outline as to why:
The pricepoints are way too high. There is not enough merchandise in the store. Understanding where to go is like trying to navigate a minefield. And the pricepoints are way too high (for anything Banana Republic, Monogram or not).
You can change the name, you can redecorate, but it is still Banana Republic by association.
And not to put an arrow in the heart of the beast while it is still dragging it's lifeless body gasping for air, but what's with all the merchandise being sold out on the Monogram website? Is your company trying to sell clothes or just show cool pictures of clothes no one will ever be able to purchase?
I. Just. Don't. Get. It.
