With Lebanon taking a role in the headlines recently due to violence, one has to wonder how Lebanese designer Elie Saab deals with what’s going on in his Homeland. Apparently his response is to build out the interior of a hotel in Dubai. This is not just any hotel mind you. Saab’s hotel in Dubai is a $163 million dollar tour de force of luxury. The hotel will bear Saab’s name and will overlook the Tiger Woods Gold course. It is slated to contain 360,000 square feet of space including 89 suites and 14 bungalows and will be filled with all sorts of amenities.

While Saab may not have designed a hotel interior before, the designer is well acquainted with luxury and his signature touch may be one of the most wanted vacation locations in the world.
