On Sheila Frank

There are a million and one point three indie designers out there. It’s unmistakable that chances are you may have run into one of them on one of your shopping excursions. Papierblog covers them in this space from time to time. The good ones go on to become great designers. Even the not-so good ones may find success. This time we’ve found a really good one. Meaning she may be on your radar and you may be wearing her in the not too near future. Sheila Frank’s youth is deceptively off-putting. The graduate of Moore College of Art and Design and former intern of Charlotte Ronson may seem as if she needs more time in the design studio by just looking at her youthful appearance but to use a ham handed cliche’ the proof is in the pudding. Her past collections show an evolution in design as well as a maturity far beyond her years. She understands shape, structure and knows how to play with the feminine form.

Her silhouettes are breathtaking and creativity simply inspiring. You will wear Sheila Frank … you will… you will.
