How To Part Deux: Bead Head

morning-hair2-Md

I hope you read the previous post because I’m not going to go over it again :)

For bed head you have a few options.  You’ll need:  a small or medium barrelled curling iron, curling spray, hair spray, and what I call, messy spray.  Again, all avaliable at the drug store.

Not surprisingly, this takes more product, but less time in front of the mirror if you aren’t a perfectionist.

One way is to let hair dry naturally over night in bed, while you toss and turn, so does your hair.  Letting it dry while you’re sitting up, reading this blog, will sacrifice volume you can’t get back, and messiness.  When you wake up follow instructions below on curling and applying product.   Another way is to blow your hair dry sans brush and with your head upside down, scrunching the hair up as you go, this creates the V and M.  But to keep it you’ll need to pick out chunks of hair randomly (after it’s dry) and wrap them around the barrel of your iron.  You’ll then need to spritz your curling spray, again scrunching up as you go.  Then apply hairspray to set, flip your head down and spray roots for more volume.  Finally, open up that messy spray, I have one called, “tousled tresses” from sheer blonde.  These products also come in a solid wax form.  Follow instructions on package and voila!

Hair so beautifully messy, you’ll look like you’ve spent the last three days in bed romping to your heart’s content.
