Fashion Week Sneak Peek: Ports 1961
If you just can’t wait for fashion week, the next best thing to seeing the Spring 2010 fashions walk down the runway is seeing the designer’s sketches before they hit the runway. We’ve got a sneak peek at designer Tia Cibani’s designs for her Ports 1961 Spring 2010 collection showing September 10.
The silhouettes look soft and a bit more modern than some of the retro shapes we saw on the Fall 09 runway, and I can’t wait to see that print.
Cibani opened a signature boutique during the economic downturn and says “Give women beautiful clothes that represent value & quality and they will still find a way to buy them.” She has invited some of the costumers from this and her other boutiques, because “My customer is always online and in the know, so why not invite them to see it live and experience the presentation first hand.”
