Loving: A little touch of Bright

Remember Light Bright?  It was that toy from the eighties with all of those hundreds of neon colored plastic pegs that were illuminated when fitted into that black box with the light inside?  Remember how you could make pictures and designs and how those colors were just so delicious and mesmerizing?  How about Rainbow Bright, the little cartoon girl whose rainbow coloring was taken to neon heights? 

 The trend has been hovering over spring and summer but is about to really descend this autumn.  Give yourself license to relive those early days, courtesy of Michael Kors, J.Crew, and discount retailers who have jumped on the trend of neon accents.  My prediction:  this is going to stick for a minute, it won’t be adopted by everyone which will make those who do it stand out.  Just a touch against a neutral color is all it takes to ignite a colorful childhood revelry.  Check out the socks at j.crew.com, and this little cardi from Forever.
