Fashion's Night Out… in Queens?
You read that correctly. Fashion’s Night Out is not just happening in a place where the yokels consider “New York”. It’s also happening in the boroughs. So if waiting for the G train is getting to be a drag, ignore it and do the sensible thing. Head over to Queens where krisTees will feature 6 Queens based emerging designers. The thought here is something along the lines of, what are they designing? Hairnets to hold the rollers you say?

According to Kristie Foster, the owner of krisTees, there’s such an influx of designers into the Astoria area of Queens that missing out on the next Alexander McQueen is a distinct possibility. So to avoid that from happening she’s put together a shopping and get-to-know the designer event right in the heart of Queens. The event kicks off tonight during Fashion’s night out 24-01 23rd Ave from 6pm to 11pm.
