NYC Fashion Week Spring 2010: Katie Stern Vanexiana
Katie Stern has a very loyal following for her Vanexiana line of classic eveningwear and it’s easy to see why. Stern creates beautiful gowns in traditional silhouettes and glamorous fabrics with pretty, if predictable, details. Ladies on the charity circuit could always find a gown or two for the season on Stern’s runway, but after a while you do kind of wish she’d do something a bit different.
