Barlow Spring 2010 preview
How can you not love a collection that is obviously so fun to wear? I heart the Barlow lookbook with its behind-the-scenes vibe and party atmosphere. It’s also always nice to see some edgy rock and roll clothes for spring amidst the piles of sun dresses and floral prints.
Barlow is a collaboration between Cynthia Vincent protogee Molly Girard Coonan and Alice Barlow. According to the press release, their aesthetic is “the dichotomy of ‘tomboy and vixen,’ ’sex and geometry.’ ‘his and hers,’ ‘avant-grade and traditional.”
My favorite part of the Spring 2010 line is the biker jackets, above. Crafted of suede and lived-in look leather with lacing, they’re the jackets you’ll want to throw on top of everything you wear.
