Christian Siriano talks about his reality show and Fall 2010
We all knew Christian Siriano’s personality was too big to be contained by an ensemble reality show like Project Runway. Now he will have his own show on Bravo which he touts as a fairly serious documentary a la The September Issue and Valentino [The Last Emporer]. Siriano’s high opinion of himself might bother me if he wasn’t so lovable.
“It’s going to be really serious, like not so campy. There are a lot of moments that are just silent and like working and like really how serious the business is, because it’s really hard, it really is,” Siriano said.
The show will follow the creation of his Spring 2010 and Fall 2010 collections from start to finish, so I guess we can expect a late 2010 air date.
As for that Fall 2010 Collection, Siriano revealed that it will be much darker than his previous work.
“It’s very gothic, kind of like a swamp, but we wanted it to be really feminine.”
