Saturday shoe sale shopping

Shoe sale collage

Holidays are a time for splurging not just on others, but on yourself. I don’t know how many times I’ve explained a more-expensive-than-usual purchase away by saying it was for my Christmas outfit. Add a few glitzy parties or fancy New Year’s Eve plans into the mix and you’ve got an excuse for almost anything. Above, see some of the shoes I’ve been eying lately that have recently gone on sale or come down in price.

The Valentino Peep Toe Pump with bow detail in emerald green was clearly made to be worn for Christmas festivities. The shoe could be your touch of holiday color to a more understated ensemble or could ground a red dress. The shoes were originally $695 but are now on sale for $485 at Saks.

If you’re looking for something a little more understated, or don’t think emerald green actually tones down a red dress (maybe that’s just me) then these Stuart Weitzman Pinchos Open-Toe Pumps are a terrific neutral option that still feature some interesting texture. These shoes with boa-texture leather upper were $385 but are now 60% off at Endless.com, bringing them down to a quite reasonable $154.

On the other end of the spectrum, if you’d like your holiday inspirations to be front and center, the over-the-top L.A.M.B. Rose Boot, also at Endless, is perfect. It’s also a great option if open-toes in winter just aren’t for you and you’d like to keep your feet snuggly. The $514 boots are now on sale for $308, 60% off.
