Vampires may be a trend, but vampy lingerie is always chic. We like to think Brulee Lingerie and Loungewear has the second theme in mind with the release of their new Vamp Collection, accompanying the rest of their Fall/Winter 2010 Collection.
Tap pants, sheer boy shorts and silk bodysuits are a little less suitable for daywear than many of Brulee’s other offerings, but that’s pretty much the point. Designed to “channel your inner femme fatale” the range uses a color palette of copper, pewter, cobalt blue, plum, black and cream with feminine trims and hand-cast gold and Swarovski crystal hardware.
Ironically, it’s in the Boudoir Collection that we found a few more pieces for everyday wear. The silk bodysuit would look sexy, but not too sexy on a smaller-chested lady, under a blazer and pants, keeping the racier mesh paneling under wraps (for now). Same goes for the bias-cut silk cami which could double as a going out top, especially if you’re looking to hook someone to stay in with. Unfortunately, if you’re above a B cup, it will be hard to keep it classy and you should probably keep these behind closed doors or closed cardigans.
The Classic Collection offers the most regular loungewear, now with two pairs of leggings – one with corset stitching and one with gold pyramid stud details. There’s also a men’s-style sleep shirt sure to look sexier on you than his actual shirt.
A really well-rounded collection with lots of option in the $36 to $220 range, if you like pretty underpinnings you should definitely find something here.
