Atmosphere at Boudoir d’Huitres SS11

French writer Rachel Lebeau had the pleasure of attending an offsite (away from Lincoln center) show during New York fashion week. She details her experience here:

What is good with New York fashion week, is that there must be at least thirty runways shows per day. Certainly there major names that are displayed at Lincoln Center, and attract the general public, but besides these, we can also discover new designers emerging here and there that are worth being seen and heard. Moreover, these kinds of shows usually takes place in a more covert, more edgy, more ... fashion centered place. For Boudoir d'Huitres, a line from South Africa, the presentation took place at the Exit Art gallery near Midtown Manhattan.
