London Fashion Week Spring '08
Xterity - The Big Picture
We don’t swoon for many gowns, but we’re swooning for this one. It is effing breathtaking. From Xterity’s London Fashion Week Spring 2008 collection. (see the full gallery at here)
Ashley Isham - The Big Picture
I somehow missed this review on iPapier, but this completely illustrates how sometimes you understand the fluidity of a gown by looking at it in a photo, not video, not words, just a simple snapshot. Take a look (you can click the photo below for a larger image)

Jens Laugesen in London (via cellphone)

photo Tenisha Anderson (for iPapier)
Never the one to shy away from a plug for a sister site, I started combing through photos from our coverage in London. Yes we have a boatload of detail photos from the shows, but we also have more cell phone pictures than you can shake a Nokia at or an iPhone (I hear that’s the new “thing” now). This photo is from the Jens Laugesen show, which one of our editors called dreamy. We shit you not, she used that word. See more upcoming cellphone photos on our via iPapier.
Fashion on the Fringes

photography Anne-Marie Michel
Papierblog resumes our normal updates tomorrow, but we’re still hung over a bit from New York and London fashion weeks. The photo you see above is behind the scenes shots at the Fashion Fringe show in London. Some of our favorite photos are actually back of house, looking at all the hustle and bustle behind the scenes. Our in-house photographer in London went behind the scenes to find out exactly what went on prior to and after the shows. It’s a voyeuristic view at how the looks come together. We also will be updating today with some celebrity photos directly from London. But for now, check out our continuing London wrap up on iPapier. We’re also writing reviews directly from Milan. Digital fashion knows no borders.

Jacob Kimmie - London Fashion Week Spring ‘08
Here are some of my favorite photos from London Fashion Week. All of the photos are from the Jacob Kimmie show this past week. The head pieces and the masks are absolutely gorgeous. Complete show is at iPapier.

Fashion is haunted by trends of seasons past. Normally you’ll find yourself wincing at old photos from an earlier decade when shoulder pads were in. Bell bottoms are now the thing as illustrated by our retro article this month.... [Go]
