Jimmy Choo more than just

Jimmy Choo

Jimmy Choo, you know the high end shoes and accessories, signed a ten year deal with Paris based Selective Beauty SAS. Choo will debut a new woman’s fragrance in Spring 2009 (not so far away) expanding their already worldwide success. There are also talks of clothing, swimwear, and even eyewear down the line. Head to toe Choo sounds a bit pricey to me. Wonder if you’ll have to go up a size in the jeans as well?

Living Green Part II

Nvey

When I think of Australia, the associations that come to mind are a country of 18th century British outcasts and its contagious surfer mentality (and maybe a less-than version of ANTM), but certainly not high quality beauty products (don’t even think about inserting Nad’s here). But lo and behold, Australia is the original home to my newest organic beauty purchase, Nvey makeup — flawless coverage that moisturizes but never gets oily, and a handful of ingredients you can actually pronounce. The current American line is a bit limited, but for reliable basics it’s No. 1 on my list.

Plan your shoe shopping list here!

Wanted: Legs that go further than a well timed compliment. Gams that cause a collective gasp. Stems that are the best in the bouquet. Time tocross that off your to-do list and get shopping. Life & Style Weekly Magazine  presents a top shelf list of the summer’s most sizzling sandals. These sexy shoes combine skyrocket wedge heels with a perfectly placed peep-toe or stellar slingback for a lengthy look that puts you in another height bracket. And we’re always looking to trade-up, right?

Some of the hautest hitters are coming from Aldo, Bakers, and Carlos by Carlos Santana. Aldo uses a springy cork to lift you up without letting uncomfortable styling bring you down. Bakers takes a feminine, floral approach with a slightly naughty patent leather trim. And to round out the trend list, Carlos by Carlos Santana uses Lucite and always-appealing metallics to make an of-the-moment statement.

In a Sling

Sling Bag

Received an e-mail (out of the -hundreds-, -thousands-, ok tens of e-mails) a couple of days ago regarding a new bag from maker Waterfield designs. Normally the bags they manufacture/sell are of a utilitarian nature (laptop, briefcase etc.), this bag in particular though seemed to mix the right amout of chic with utility. It’s not like a uber stylish satchel bag, nor is it a large hobo that you see everyone wearing like some sort of matron in a third world village. It’s a mix of sensible and stylish when you just need a bag. So I am officially shilling for the sling today because it’s now part of my bag collection and I’ve found more uses than I know what to do with. It’s that good. Check it out here.
