If you missed out on Madonna’s exclusive track jacket at H&M no worries. Ms. M herself has been working on the collection which is set to hit stores in March ‘07. Unlike the previous Track jacket, M by Madonna includes several dresses and tops that are not as casual. Can’t wait to see what the Material Girl has in store.

So our managing editor, Ali Manning, took a long 24 hour trip to Singapore via New York, via Bali and wound up covering Singapore fashion week for us (a couple of weeks ago), the photos are starting to trickle in and we’ve setup a section on our runway page. If you have a chance, check it out. There’s still some ways to go before they get mentioned in the same breath as the larger designers, but she did find some great pieces. Her favorite? A designer we should all keep an eye on, Khoon Hooi.

California based designer Trina Turk opens her Manhattan store today in the Meatpacking district. The store offering California warmth and charm along with Turks “summer of love” type pieces, will be welcomed during the next few weeks of hitting cold New York streets searching for the perfect holiday gifts.

Sweden is known for many a great thing. Their chocolates are divine. The meatballs will melt in your mouth and bring out the neanderthal carnivore in you; and their designers are should not be ignored either. While she may get mad at us for putting her in the same category as meatballs and chocolate, Carin Rodebjer’s designs are another great Swedish export.
